Integrity Music Group has been blessed with three great minds collectively working together to provide some of the greatest gospel hits over the past few years. The gifted production team known as PAJAM, consist of Paul D. Allen, J. Moss and Walter Kenney. The group has createdd an album entitled Sing to the Lord. From production to instrumentation to lyrics PAJAM was all over the album. The Pajam Studio Ensemble which consisted of Leya Derrickson, Monique Lee and 21:03 members, Torrence Greene and Evin Martin put their vocals skills to work giving a fine tuned performance throughout the album.

Sing To the Lord is filled with mid-tempo, colorful tracks to be enjoyed by variety of gospel music lovers. The album isn’t filled with the computerized, R&B sound you would hear on J Moss album. PAJAM shows their ability to reach out and explore various sounds. The album is comprised of an inspirational, alternative gospel sound with twists of soul here and there.

‘Praise Adonai’ and ‘trading My Sorrows’ set a precedent for the rest of the album, leaving you assured that you are in a treat as you listen. The instrumentation helps push the track along and give life as the singers rejoice in Gods greatness. Darlene Zschech wrote the beautiful track ‘Worthy Is the Lamb’. This laid back groove gives honor to God for sending His son to die for us. The praises go up as the choirs’ harmony stands out while singing the chorus “Worthy is the lamb seated on the thrown Crown You now with many crowns, You reign victorious.”

‘All About You’ and ‘Open the Eyes of My Heart’ are catchy up-tempo worship tracks sure to be song in several church worship services. The choir assures us that Christ is alive on ‘My Redeemer Lives.’ The song starts someone mentions this track is for the young people and proves to be so with a up-tempo hip-hop/go-go production.

A comforting feeling fills your soul when listening to various songs on the album. The vocals on ‘I Need You More’ are a humble cry unto the Lord for help. ‘Rescue’ contains a calm sound as the ensemble sings “I need You Jesus to come to my rescue; where else can I go there’s no other name by which I am saved, capture me with grace.” The perfect harmony meshes well with the production and can make this a favorite off the album.

With their own project and their continued work with several other gospel artists it’s easy to see that PAJAM has a love and talent for producing great songs. Sing to the Lord proves again that these young men of God are using the talent giving by the Lord to honor and glory his name with this nice collection.
