May 27, 2009. Atlanta/Washington, D.C. GospelEngine.com and Rejoice! Musical Soul Food announced today that they have formed a strategic alliance with Amen Gospel to Release: Rejoice! Musical Soul Food CD Compilation Series, with the first CD Release slated for Fall/Winter 2009. The terms of the alliance provide that Artists selected for this CD Compilation Series will be selected from GospelEngine.com and Rejoice! Musical Soul Food will collaborate on marketing and promotions, with product placement provided exclusively via Amen Gospel’s distribution with EMI CMG. Rejoice! Musical Soul Food, Vol.1 will consist of a blend of traditional and contemporary gospel independent artists and ministers of the gospel.

Operation Ethan Launches May 30th To Benefit Brave 8-Yeard-Old Boy Battling Cancer

Nashville, Tenn. May 21, 2009… In an effort to financially aide Ethan Bibb, an 8-year-old boy who is battling Medulloblastoma, a cancer of the brain and spinal cord, Operation Ethan is born. This project will feature a live concert, auction and family fun including bounce houses, crafts, jewelry making, caricatures, and more! The event begins at 10AM on May 30 in Cross Plains, Tenn. at Kilgore Park.

INO Records’ Building 429 and 33Miles as well as Word Record’s Pocket Full of Rocks will join the concert bill along with Nashville’s 94FM the Fish at Kilgore Park in Cross Plains for a benefit concert at 6PM. No tickets are required for the concert but there will be a $10 suggested donation at the gate. Newsboys New Album In The Hands Of God Debuts At No.1

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) May 14, 2009—newsboys debuted at No. 1 this week on the SoundScan Christian Albums chart with its fourteenth studio release, In The Hands of God. The album, whose title track also recently topped the Christian AC radio chart, additionally claimed No. 1 on the SoundScan Christian Adult Contemporary Albums chart, Soundscan Christian Digital chart, No. 1 on iTunes’ Christian/Gospel Top Albums chart and No. 28 on the Billboard Top 200. The occasion marks Inpop Records’ biggest ever street week in its 10 year history and the first No.1 record for newsboys since releasing Adoration in 2003.

Conrad Miller has a passion for singing God’s praises. Flaunting a classic musical style and an almost quartet-sounding flair, Miller embraces eleven uplifting and God-centered tunes on his first gospel release, My Journey.

Growing up in the church choir, Miller studied piano and trumpet. Later, he received his musical education at Fort Hays Kansas State University and the University of Michigan. He’s performed – as a soloist – at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center and at recitals overseas. Although he found success as an R&B songwriter with the hit “Carla, My Love”, recorded by The Softones, and as an MGM recording artist with the group, The Soulful Seven, it wasn’t until the accomplished singer and arranger returned to his gospel roots that he found his true muse.

Nu Tradition Serving The Nation

(May 5, 2009) Indianapolis - Nu Tradition made a tour stop in Indianapolis , IN , the hometown of Tyscot Records. The group performed at several area churches and headlined a charity concert event hosted by Al “The Bishop” Hobbs at the historic Madame Walker Theatre . Gospel stars Lamar Campbell and Rev. Lawrence Thomison joined Nu Tradition during another one of their spirit-filled performances.
