TFK Brings New Life To Taco Bell’s Feedthebeat.com With New Single

Seattle, WA…April 27, 2009…Tooth & Nail Records’ Thousand Foot Krutch is breathing new life to their fans with the freshly posted single “Bring Me To Life” as part of the Taco Bell’s Feed The Beat music program. TFK partnered with familiar face, Aaron Sprinkle, to co-produce the single, and Randy Staub, to mix the single, which is available for a free download to fans previewing the Fall 2009 release. Fans can hear the single at the Feed the Beat site or go to the new studio album’s site to receive a free download link. TFK is currently placing the finishing touches on their fifth studio album, “Welcome to the Masquerade.” The full album is also co-produced by Sprinkle and Trevor McNevan along with Staub mixing. Among the winners and those honored last night were two BEC Recordings’ artists KJ-52 and Seventh Day Slumber.

The Afters Garner Second Career Dove Award With Rock/Contemporary Album At 40th Annual GMA Dove Awards

Nashville, Tenn. Apr. 24, 2009… INO Records’ The Afters took home the top prize in the “Rock/Contemporary Album” category at the 2009 GMA Dove Awards held yesterday evening at the Grand Old Opry House in Nashville, Tenn. and broadcasted live on Gospel Music Channel.

The band was recognized for their record “Never Going Back to Ok” which was produced by Dan Muckala. The band dedicated the award to their late manager David Lipscomb.

Sixsteprecords Welcomes 7 Awards At The 40th Annual Dove Awards

April 24, 2009…Nashville, TN…sixstepsrecords welcomes seven awards at this year’s 40th Annual Dove Awards, which were held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville and broadcast LIVE on Gospel Music Channel. The Atlanta-based record label received five trophies for their compilation disc Passion: God Of This City for Special Event Album of the year.

Passion: God Of This City featured all sixstepsrecords’ artists: Chris Tomlin, David Crowder* Band, Charlie Hall, Matt Redman, Christy Nockels and Kristian Stanfill.. Each of the artists received a Dove Award for their involvement on this record.
