Hip-hop music has always been about representing the sound of the region that you are from. From the quick paced soul samples of the East Coast, to the funk grooves of the West Coast, to the laid back bass sounds of the South, hip-hop has its own regional flavor. Representing the West with vigor is State County/Bungalo/Universal Records recording artist Mista Cavi.

From the beginning to the end of the CD, Cavi does not dial down the rugged flow. The grimy sound permeates the 17 track project. The standout songs on the CD are 'Next is Me!', 'Get Turned Up!' (which is also the first single from the project), 'Too Active', and 'Love That'.

Mista Cavi rode the heavy street buzz that his music produced, and which led to him selling over 27,000 units on the streets, and turned that into a $1.1 million label deal with both CD and video distribution from Universal Music. Cavi is by no means a fly-by-night artist, and with the buzz he is already getting from his street cred, expect Cavi to be around for a long time.
