Who would have thought that a band formed five years ago would have gained the success that Building 429 have in such a short matter of time. Of course, there’s a lot that goes into becoming a success in the music world. But at the end of the day, it’s the talent that sustains a band. After listening to the promotional album “Glory Defined”, Building 429 has the talent.
It’s the right hit song, which catapults a band into the spotlight. And for Building 429, it’s the opening song “Glory Defined.” It’s a song that tells about the one can define the glory of God. The song has everything needed to be a hit. There are strong vocals, musical arrangements, and a message that blends together into a piece of art. But it’s has the commercial appeal that crosses into other markets.
The promotional album is balanced with songs “Free” which is another strong pulsing rock song about being free in God. While songs “Show Me Love” and “The Space In Between Us”, it gives a softer rock feel. All the songs deliver strong messages of the Christian faith.
In the genre of rock with a twist of alternative, Building 429 proves they have what it takes to be in the business. They released their full album effort in July 2004. And will release they’re sophomore effort in March 2006. This is just an indication of their talents, love for God, and success to come.
