'Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs' is a 2 CD collection of hymns and medleys by hit gospel recording artist Donnie McClurkin. This album of songs is ideal for moving you into the Spirit or getting 'your praise on'. This project has something for everyone. There are medleys of old time African American traditional gospel songs featuring songs like: 'At The Cross' and 'I Will Trust In the Lord' and 'I Love the Lord'. Interspersed with old-time gospel songs are contemporary tracks including: 'Ooh Child' featuring Kirk Franklin, a language medley, 'Total Praise' by Richard Smallwood and 'Saciame Senor Yo Se Que Estas Aqui' a Spanish/English track with Joann Rosario.

In my opinion, Donnie McClurkin is an anointed performer. This latest album conveys McClurkin's anointing 'Again...' (sorry I couldn't resist). 'Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs' is entertaining and at the same time moving. The live audience interaction/feedback gives the sensation of being in a congregation, lifting holy hands in praise while 'DonMac' leads the worship.

The music production quality is excellent. McClurkin's voice, as always is clear, powerful with a tinge of raspiness, yet still silky smooth.

Bottom line: 'Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs' is a great album and I highly recommend it.
