Going to a good concert these days can bend the pockets and artists are selling out shows like hot cakes but if your band is really good and you know the fan that is always e-mailing you saying 'how come you don't come to my town ?' and yes as a hot recording artist you may feel bad that hey, we may never get to play there on this tour so what option do you give your fans as a gift of appreciation you play and record your tour for your fans to hear it live on cd.

With their self titled album 'The Soul Seekers ' it is recorded live because, the artists are not your average gospel group with a lead vocalist with a mass choir. This is refreshing and getting back to the basics of people actually playing a instrument.

When you hear the cd you would think this would be older men singing traditional bluesy like gospel but when you look on the cd cover you will see young men of God belting out those down home church anthems.

It is something we have not seen in years not since the 70's funkjazz era like The Crusaders,The Politicians, or even Edwin Hawkins and the Staple Singers who gave us 70's soul with gospel pulling in the audience as the anchor. The Soul Seekers bring a new testament to a revival that has been long overdue the feeling of live music form young extreme gifted minds.

The album is good enough for your friends and family to enjoy for a nice after church dinner to accompany that mac and cheese, greens, and chicken dish that grandmother always knows how throw down in the kitchen! Songs Like 'What would you do' are heart felt, real, and gives you a since of making the right decision in life wich explains that God gives us free will in this life he still loves us but if he did not send Jesus to make atonement for our lives The Soul Seekers simply ask( What if God turned his back on you) definitely a song you can sit and reflect on your current situations that may be challenging you everyday. There is a feel good James Brown like Groove that I really enjoy putting the cd on repeat for long periods of time a track ' You Outta Been' This song was origianlly recorded with Percy Bailey wich was a popular hit with radio.

Hearing The Soul Seekers record their entire cd live is a hi-fi stereo, living room concert ,jumping off!!! For The Soul Seekers go to : www. gospocentric.com
