(July 26, 2006) – What started in 1976, has become a legendary status now for Bishop Leonard Scott; as his label Tyscot is the oldest African-American owned Gospel Record Label in the nation.
To commemorate this auspicious occasion, Dr. Leonard Scott is crisscrossing the nation to promote his new album/DVD “Live From Alabama” recorded in Birmingham – November, 2005 (in stores April 25, 2006) and his new book “Soaring With Eagles”. Some of the cities have included Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Memphis, Little Rock, Raleigh-Durham & St. Louis just to name a few. While on his tour, he is visiting radio & TV stations, newspapers and retail outlets. A huge celebration is planned for August to celebrate the special anniversary for a televised event.
The hit single SING UNTO THE KING is already gaining momentum on many radio stations across the nation.
