V3 self titled album in stores August 1st
Fashion mogul Isaac Mizrahi, along with noted stylist to the stars Alexander Allen (stylist to Beyonce, Fantasia, Jennifer Lopez and Eve) transformed EMI Gospel recording artists V3 from youthful kindergarten teachers to recording star divas! Both New York fashion pacesetters hand selected three modern contemporary styles for the group, to couple with the release of their self titled debut LP, in stores August 1, 2006.
Stylist Alexander Allen, publicist Ebony Shields, V3, famed stylist Isaac MizrahiShooting began with style #1, a sassy edgy performance look complete with bold showy colors, daring accessories, ambitious hats and stilettos fit for a queen. With look # 2, Isaac and Alexander challenged the laws of fashion as we know it, pulling together the most extravagant gaudy outfits, using this season’s strong gold’s, creams and loud purples. This allowed the girls to be both comfortable and trendy. Last, the vogue duo took a more simple approach in selecting look #3. An elegant A-line black dress paired with the perfect black shoe, ideal for an upcoming award show post party or any swanky black tie event. “V3’s new image is unparalleled” says EMI Gospel publicist Ebony Shields, “Isaac and Alexander’s vision exceeded all conceptual style expectations in brandings a signature look unique to each of their individual (Alexander Allen, publicist Ebony Shields, V3 and Isaac Mizrahi) personalities.”

V3 are three young women who’ve got something going on. Something major and memorable, and perfectly made for this moment in time. As the children of a pastor/father, and a mother who was a professional singer, songwriter and recording artist, the sisters grew up singing under their mother’s careful tutelage, and guided by the spiritual teachings and example set for them by their dad. With their self titled album set for an August 1st release, V3 is embarking on what promises to be a long and exciting journey; and with their compass and course clearly set. “We want to entertain people, and show them that there’s no contradiction in enjoying yourself and also being a Christian,” Shelley concludes. “We’re just people, like everyone else, and we’re not perfect at all; but you don’t have to be perfect in order to receive God’s love. Our greatest purpose is just to love people as much as we can, and try to live the kinds of lives where others can really see his love through us. That’s why we are here.
