NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE — The first dose of V3 is coming right up, with the release of their anticipated debut album.

It's the kind of record that speaks to young people that like to have fun — “A lot of people shy away from church and the Gospel, because they think they are going to be judged, or put down, or preached to,” says Shelley, “and they don’t want to hear that. They just want you to be real with them. And that’s exactly where we are coming from.”

More than two years ago, V3, sisters Latoya, Shelley and Sacha Vinson along with Creative II Management teamed up with EMI Gospel in pursuit of taking back everything that the enemy was set to destroy by force. “We’ve worked with a lot of kids who were fighting depression…drug addiction…serious issues, says Sacha and serious issues demand a serious response.”

As the children of a pastor/father, and a mother who was a professional singer, songwriter and recording artist, the sisters grew up singing under their mother’s careful tutelage, and guided by the spiritual teachings and example set for them by their dad. V3’s musical influences range from traditional and contemporary gospel to mainstream pop and R&B, as they fuse the inspirations of their mentors with cutting-edge, 21st-century sensibilities to create a sound both exciting and entirely their own.

Their self titled project is a profound journey into that rare, anointed place where entertainment, inspiration and worship meet in perfect harmony, and the natural intersection of gospel and contemporary R&B. With Latoya and Sacha both co-writing a number of the album’s songs—and receiving the perfect production touch from artist/producer, Antonio Neal, Josiah Bell, Robert Marvin—better known as Double Dutch, Creative II Studio Producers B. Russ/Rusty Soul and William Holt/Crisis Situations the album packs a lyrical power equal to its formidable musical punch.

The ladies kick off their promotional tour this month partnering with the national Boys & Girls Club visiting radio, retail outlets Columbus, Toledo, Grand Rapids, Chicago, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines and New York City.

In September, V3 will receive an innovative fashion makeover from famed New York stylist Isaac Mizrahi as special in studio guest on his show. Air dates TBD.
