Integrity Gospel Releases New Men of Standard CD to Christian Retail;
"Surrounded" In Stores Today
MOBILE, Alabama (July 25, 2006) - - Integrity Gospel announces the
Christian retail release of "Surrounded," the latest project from Sony
Gospel recording artists Men of Standard. This marks the fifth
full-length album for the Stellar Award winning trio composed of Isaac Carree,
Lowell Pye and Bryan Pierce.
"Surrounded," which was produced by Warryn Campbell (Mary Mary),
includes guest appearances by Tye Tribbett, Kirk Franklin and rapper Heavy D.
The project contains 10 songs, seven of which were penned by Campbell.
The album combines Men of Standard's contemporary Gospel and R&B style
with a hip-hop edge while making room for a handful of beautiful
ballads.
"Surrounded" is available today everywhere Christian music is sold.
The album is distributed to general market stores through Sony-BMG and to
Christian retail stores through Provident-Integrity Distribution.
Men of Standard have been ministering through music since their
formation in 1995. The group owes its name to Carree's mother, a devout woman
who told them she believed they were called to serve as examples,
living uncompromised lives of service for Christ.
It is a charge that Men of Standard take seriously. "When you see us in
the malls, in our homes with our families, in our churches, we want
people to see that we live the life style we sing about," explains Carree.
"We are faithful to our wives, take care of our kids, and take care of
our homes. We are faithful to our local ministry, pay our tithes. We do
community service work. And, we do those things because we love people
and we love God. It's not just something you'll see on stage or videos,
or hear on a CD. It's the life we live."
