Crystal Rose Recording Artist Earnest Pugh Makes National Debut Today!
D.C. Area To Honor Artist
Earnest Pugh, one of the country's up-and- coming artists, has just released his major independent label release, A Worshipper's Perspective. Kicking off his national release in Atlanta on this past Sunday, Pugh started off the week with his friend and mentor Byron Cage in Atlanta as a special guest worship leader for both the 7AM and 10AM worship services at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Bishop Eddie Long. On Monday, he visited several radio station for interviews. For the BIG DAY, today, Tuesday, July 25th, Pugh is hosting an in-store CD signing and performance at the Berean Christian Bookstore in Atlanta. He will visit churches, retail outlets and radio stations in the Atlanta area throughout the week.
Although Earnest Pugh is hitting the road hard promoting the new album, those in his hometown in Washington, D.C. are preparing to celebrate his success. Radio and retail officials, ministers of music, pastors and friends in the Maryland/District of Columbia/Virginia area will host a reception in honor of Earnest Pugh on Friday, August 4th in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia in celebration of his national release A Worshipper’s Perspective on Crystal Rose Records/EPM Music Group.

ABOUT EARNEST PUGH
Earnest Pugh is the Director of Praise & Worship at Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church in Fort Washington, MD under the leadership of Rev. Drs. Grainger and Jo Ann Browning. Pugh is originally from Memphis, TN where his career began as a member of gospel recording artist O’landa Draper & Associates.
After serving in the military for 15 years, Pugh landed a tour with a major stage play. That exposure connected him to now GospoCentric Recording Artist Byron Cage who encouraged Pugh, originally from Memphis, TN, to join the Music Department of Ebenezer A.M.E. Church in DC in August 2000.
