  • Wu-Tang Clan to Tour in August

    (Re)enter the *Wu-Tang* : the surviving original members of the legendary Staten Island hip-hop collective are putting their solo careers on hold (for a month) and heading out on another U.S. tour in August. The busy MCs regrouped earlier this year for an East Coast trek, their first tour in years, which also served as a tribute to Ol' Dirty Bastard.

    Now, they're spreading out across the nation, hitting clubs and festivals like the San Diego Street Scene, Rock the Bells, and the Voodoo Music Experience. Wu-Tang United:

    As usual, the Wu-Tang fam is busy churning out solo albums. Method Man's /4:21...The Day After /is due in August, Masta Killa's /Made in Brooklyn /will be released August 8, and Raekwon's /Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 /hits stores in late summer, hopefully. A new GZA album is in the works for release on Liquid Swords Entertainment/Babygrande in October, while RZA is busy composing the score for the forthcoming Richard LaGravenese film /Freedom Writers/, starring Hilary Swank.
