(Nashville, Tenn.) July 17, 2006 – Michael Farren, lead singer of the critically-acclaimed band Pocket Full Of Rocks, wrote and performed “Rock On LarryBoy,” the new theme song for the upcoming VeggieTales DVD LarryBoy and the Bad Apple, which releases August 1, 2006. The highly anticipated DVD release is the first new “LarryBoy” project in over six years. Farren’s contribution will also be featured on LarryBoy The Soundtrack CD.

As one of 2006’s most successful new groups, Pocket Full Of Rocks has quickly garnered attention from all areas of the Christian music industry with their top-selling debut project, Song To The King. The project is enjoying widespread media attention in publications such as CCM Magazine, which selected the band for its “Ones To Watch” while Charisma commented, “The disc [Song To The King] features acoustic pop rock tunes with a tight sound, earnest vocals and heart-rending lyrics.” A recent issue of More To Life stated that the project is “…a winning combination for fans of modern worship.”
The album has also seen success at Christian radio, garnering a top 15 AC and top 5 INSPO spot on the charts for the band’s debut single, “Song To The King.”

Pocket Full of Rocks has been leading worship in venues around the country for over ten years including the 2006 Passion worship conference in Nashville, Tenn. The band’s songs have been featured on numerous worship projects, including “Let It Rain” on Michael W. Smith’s Platinum-certified Worship album and “Let the Worshippers Arise” as the title track for the latest Phillips, Craig and Dean release.
