Profyle, the hot R&B group that blessed us with the hit "Liar" has done
it all on their current LP "Nothin But Drama." Their cd has a lil something
for everyone, both male and female. As one of the hottest acts out right now,
the fellas from Profyle took time out of their busy schedules to answer a few
questions to touch basis on their music, career, and future aspirations in
the hectic music industry.
-
How has your second time out in the public eye/music industry been
for
you?
Fun, seeing peoples faces, it's been of-the-chain. People have been
showing
us a lot of love.
-
How have you fans and radio responded to your return to the music
industry?
They have embraced us a whole lot more than the first time. I guess
it's
just our time now. We're just grateful for the push Motown gave us.
-
Did you all play a significant role in selecting "Liar" as the lead
single?
No, Kedar selected it. We were kind of scared. Kedar said it was gonna
be
o.k., "You took care of that one Kedar"
-
How would you say your style differs from other male groups?
We're more aggressive as far as approach and lyrics.
-
What producers would you like to work with in the future?
Timberland, Babyface, Jon B
-
Do you see you latest CD "Nothin' But Drama" as your last CD?
NO, not at all, NO, NO, NO
-
Are there any plans for solo projects from anyone in the group?
No
-
Have you all been on multi-city tours yet? If yes, who else has
been
performing with you all on the tour?
Joe, Nelly, Cash Money, Philly's Most Wanted, R Kelly, Kelly Price,
Deborah
Cox, Candi, Ja Rule
-
While you guys were away from the industry, what did you miss the
most?
We were never away, we were always working. It's a misconception that
when
you're not hearing anything from an artist that they're away from the
industry; but you're never away, you're always working in one capacity
or
another.
-
Who are some of your favorite artist that are out now?
India Irie, Joe, Musiq, Dave Holister, Dave Matthews Band, Carl Thomas,
Kelly
Price, R Kelly, Jay Z
