Set in the gritty streets of modern day Kingston, digital cult classic Third World Cop tells the story of two friends whose lives have taken very different paths. Capone (Paul Campbell), a star crime fighter, returns to his hometown where he reunites with childhood friend, Ratty (Mark Danvers). Capone is alarmed to learn that Ratty is now the right-hand man of the notorious local don, Wonie (Carl Bradshaw). Torn between their loyalty to each other and their present lives, each tries to convince the other to join ranks.

Caught in their struggle is Rita (Audrey Reid), Capone's childhood sweetheart, who has built an honest life in the community against all odds. Powerless to intercede, she watches her friends clash over their conflicting ideals. Unable and unwilling to compromise or change their directions, Capone and Ratty's battle unfolds in this compelling drama.

Third World Cop offers a high-energy reggae and dancehall soundtrack produced by Sly & Robbie, featuring Jamaica's most exciting new musical talents. Third World Cop was 100% digitally shot on location with a cast and crew from Jamaica.

This film will open in New York and Miami April 14,2000 and in Los Angeles on April 28, 2000.
