{June 26, 2008} – Ami Rushes teams with Gospel veterans Dottie Peoples and Ann Nesby for the SISTERS OF SOUL SHARING THE GOSPEL TOUR hitting many major cities this fall. The show will open up with comedienne Sister Cantaloupe.

Ami Rushes’ latest CD is titled LIFTING and spawned the hit single “I Can Go To God In Prayer” dedicated to Albertina Walker. Ami is available for performances via www.amirushes.com. Ami’s current single produced by Kurt Carr, “Oh Lord, Stand By Me” has just recently been shipped to radio. The video was directed by Darryl D. Lassiter - his fifth with her. The song, originally written and recorded by the Rev. James Cleveland struck a nerve with Rushes as she recorded an entire album of Gospel classics. “Stand By Me” and the album were produced by Kurt Carr – ex keyboardist for Cleveland .
