Two Empty Chairs Set To Debut Brighter Day

Franklin, TN (March 26, 2007) – Tonecrash Records is pleased to announce the signing of its flagship artist TWO EMPTY CHAIRS and the release of the band’s national debut, Brighter Day, available April 3.

Hailing from Smackover , Arkansas , Cliff Preston (vocals/guitar), Wes Hymer (bass/bgv), Seth Bradham (drums/bgv) and Josh Bryant (guitar/bgv) grew up in musical families and have each been playing and performing since they were small. Preston and Bradham joined forces just after Preston finished high school and Bradham was only 14. Hymer and Bryant later joined the group. The band toured for three years under a different name, but when a good friend (who was touring as keyboard player for mainstream band All American Rejects) committed suicide, the foursome decided they needed a name with more meaning and impact, one that would better reflect their hearts.

More SOLD OUT shows for MercyMe/Band to do Natl Anthem at Nascar Nextel Cup Series

* Amongst sold out tour dates on the spring leg of their “Coming Up to Breathe” national tour, multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated band MercyMe will sing the National Anthem at the Samsung 500 in their hometown of Dallas at the Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday, April 15th. The performance will be nationally televised on FOX live at 1:30pm EST.

* Currently mid-way through the tour, MercyMe has seen 72% of their shows sell out, including Portland, Spokane, Santa Barbara, Fresno (2 shows), Albuquerque, Dallas, and Milwaukee.
